What is Practical Chiropractic?
A body in motion stays in motion.
Our skeletons are mobile due to joints, where two bones meet.
Muscles attach to the bones - when a muscle contracts, a joint is put into motion.
Loss of normal range of motion of joints within the body causes pain and inflammation.
Chiropractic adjustments increase joint range of motion all over the body.
Soft Tissue Therapy reduces tension on a muscle, allowing for better range of motion of those joints.
Chiropractic with Soft Tissue Therapy is Practical.
It addresses both sides of the joints: the bones and the muscles.
It can restore normal motion, help with pain, stiffness, tension, fatigue, and overall wellness.
Pain
Pain can signal many things - injuries, loss of range of motion or abnormal biomechanics. Chiropractic adjustments and soft tissue therapy addresses many causes of pain. The most common areas include the back, neck, hips, and shoulders.
Injuries
We address injuries of all kinds, including slips and falls, auto accidents, sports injuries, and lifting injuries. We really have heard every story imaginable - from the time you tripped while carrying the Thanksgiving Turkey, to that one time you slept a little funny.
Headaches
Myofascial release does wonders for tension headaches. The upper back, shoulders, neck, and base of the skull are all connected and in just a few minutes we can usually ease those headache triggers with a combination of specific adjustments.
Wellness
Chiropractic care is great for keeping you feeling great, too. Getting adjusted regularly keeps your joints moving well.
Fatigue
Feeling tired and run down? It's amazing what an adjustment can do for you!
Stress
Stress is harmful to your health and overall wellness - and stress comes in many forms. Myofascial Release is an effective way to manage stress that presents as tension.
